Your Workspace

Your workspace is your primary surface in Luo. It’s where you use the features the assistant has built for you and where you chat with the assistant to get work done.

The operating system for your work

Think of your workspace as an operating system for your work, powered by AI. Just as an operating system provides a foundation for running applications, your workspace provides a foundation for custom tools tailored to your needs.

Your workspace contains:

  • Features — pages, dashboards, forms, and other tools built for you
  • Data — information stored in your workspace (like contacts, projects, or tasks)
  • Integrations — connections to services like Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and more

Workspace layout

When you open your workspace, you’ll see three areas:

  • Left sidebar — navigation showing all your features, organized into groups. Click to open different features.
  • Center area — displays the feature you’re currently using
  • Right panel — the assistant, ready to help you work or build new things

Your workspace always includes a Home page as your starting point.

Working in your workspace

You can interact with your workspace in two ways:

  1. Use features directly — click on items in the left sidebar to open them. Interact with forms, tables, buttons, and other elements.

  2. Ask the assistant — use the chat panel on the right to perform tasks, look up information, or ask for new features to be built.

Both approaches work together. You might browse a list of contacts in a feature, then ask the assistant to send an email to one of them.

Multiple workspaces

You can create multiple workspaces for different purposes. For example:

  • A workspace for managing client projects
  • A workspace for tracking personal tasks
  • A workspace for coordinating team schedules

Each workspace has its own features, data, and integration connections. Access all your workspaces from the My Workspaces page.
