Fal

Connect fal.ai to your Workspace to generate images and video with fal’s hosted generative models, using your own fal account and credits.

What Luo can do

  • Generate images from a text prompt (text-to-image)
  • Generate images from a reference image (image-to-image)
  • Generate video from a text prompt (text-to-video)
  • Generate video from a starting image (image-to-video)

Generation runs against the models fal hosts on your account, and usage is billed to your fal account.

How to connect

fal authenticates with an API key. You’ll create a key in the fal dashboard and paste it into Luo.

1. Create a fal API key

  1. Sign in at fal.ai and open the API Keys page at fal.ai/dashboard/keys.
  2. If you belong to a team, select the right account in the top-left corner first — keys are scoped to the personal or team account that creates them.
  3. Click Create Key, give it a name you’ll recognize (e.g. Luo), and choose the API scope.
  4. Copy the key — it starts with fal_sk_ and is shown only once. Store it somewhere safe.

2. Connect Fal in Luo

  1. Open your workspace in Luo, go to Settings → Integrations, and click Add Integration.
  2. Select Fal.
  3. Choose to connect as a user integration (your personal connection) or a workspace integration (shared across members).
  4. Paste your API key from step 1.
  5. Click Create Integration.

Privacy and data handling

Your API key authorizes Luo to run generations on your fal account, and all usage is billed there. Data flowing through Luo is governed by Luo’s security and privacy practices. To revoke access, delete the key from fal.ai/dashboard/keys — that immediately invalidates it.
